Description
Description
Whole house crickets in a jar – naturally soft, succulent and without preservatives.
Our crickets are gently heat-sterilised straight after harvesting and preserved in liquid. That keeps them soft, succulent and particularly easy to digest – ideal for animals that struggle with dried insects or refuse them. They come from our own controlled breeding in northern Germany.
Intended as a complementary feed – not as a complete feed.
Benefits of preserving in a jar
- Ready to use: no thawing or freezing needed
- Soft and succulent: also for animals with jaw or digestive problems
- Without additives: kept shelf-stable by gentle heat treatment alone
- Whole insect: wings and legs included, as natural as it gets
- From our own breeding: short transport routes, the highest hygiene standards, consistent quality

Feeding recommendation
- The quantity depends on the species, age and activity of your animal.
- Only take out as much as you feed straight away.
- For reptiles and juveniles, supplementation with calcium or vitamin preparations can make sense – simply dust the crickets lightly before feeding.
Storage
- Unopened: store cool and dry – no fridge needed.
- Opened: keep in the fridge and use within a few days.
- Always use a clean spoon to avoid contamination.
