Refund policy


A. Cancellation Policy

Introduction

Consumers have a right of withdrawal in accordance with the following provisions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession:

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (EntoSus GmbH, Funkschneise 12, 28309 Bremen, Germany, Phone: +49 (0) 421 3770 3621, Email: info@entosus.de) by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication regarding your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse you all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for the additional costs arising from the fact that you have chosen a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used in the original transaction, unless something else has been expressly agreed with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement. We may refuse reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay and in any case within fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for examining their condition, properties and functionality.

Exclusion or early expiry of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts

- for the supply of goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiry date would soon be exceeded. This includes in particular the supply of live goods (live insects and other live feeder animals), as these die or are significantly impaired in their quality and usability after a short time due to their biological nature, short lifespan and the special requirements regarding husbandry, temperature, nutrition and hygienic conditions;
- for the supply of frozen goods (deep-frozen feeder animals and deep-frozen feeder insects), as maintaining a continuous cold chain after handover to the consumer can no longer be guaranteed and the goods, after an interruption of the cold chain, are not suitable for return and resale for reasons of health protection, hygiene and rapid perishability;
- for the supply of animals within the meaning of § 90a of the German Civil Code (BGB), where the delivery concerns live animals whose return is not reasonable for reasons of animal welfare, hygiene and due to the irreversible changes in the animals caused by transport and acclimatisation to a foreign environment.

The right of withdrawal also expires prematurely for contracts for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, if their seal has been removed after delivery.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to consumers who, at the time of conclusion of the contract, do not belong to any Member State of the European Union and whose sole residence and delivery address at the time of conclusion of the contract is located outside the European Union.

General notes

1) Please avoid damage and contamination of the goods. Please return the goods in their original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please use suitable packaging to ensure adequate protection against transport damage.

2) Please do not return the goods to us with postage due.

3) Please note that the above points 1-2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
