All about insects in the bowl

Will my allergic dog tolerate insect protein?

Insects are considered a hypoallergenic protein source: most dogs have never come into contact with them before, and food allergies are usually directed against proteins a dog has known for a long time. That is why vets rely on so-called single-protein sources for elimination diets.

That is not a guarantee – every dog reacts differently. With a known allergy, start with a small amount and discuss the change with your vet.

Is the cricket cream a complete or supplementary food?

Both varieties are supplementary feeds. They therefore do not replace a complete daily ration, but are given as a reward or mixed into the basic food.

How much cricket cream may my dog have per day?

The snack quantity should be counted towards the daily ration of the basic food. How much fits depends on weight, activity and breed – a small dog needs considerably less than a large one.

Fresh drinking water should always be available.

How do I store the tube after opening?

Store unopened in a cool, dry place. After opening, the tube belongs in the fridge and should be used up within a few days.

Where do the crickets come from?

The crickets for our cricket cream come from Bremen. The recipes for our dog products are produced in the EU.

What does shipping cost and when will my order arrive?

Dog food is dry goods and goes out with DHL Standard: dispatch Monday to Friday, delivery time 1–3 working days. Shipping costs €5.49 and is free from an order value of €75.

Collection in person in Bremen is possible by arrangement. If there are problems with your parcel: info@entosus.de.

Can I mix the cream into my dog's normal food?

Yes. The cream can be portioned and stirred into mixed feed – which helps especially with dogs that are reluctant to eat their basic food.
