Description
About the product
Wax moth larvae are true energy bundles: they provide plenty of fat and a good portion of high-quality protein – ideal nutrients for growth, skin health and metabolism. Due to their high fat content, we do not recommend them as a sole feed, but especially for quickly nursing undernourished animals back to health.
Protein content for comparison
Wax moth larvae: approx. 15–18% protein
Crickets: approx. 18–22% protein
Mealworms: approx. 20–25% protein
Black soldier fly larvae (BSFL): approx. 35–45% protein
Easy to digest
The soft body shell makes wax moth larvae particularly easy to digest – also ideal for young animals and sensitive eaters.
Attractive taste
Thanks to their high fat content, many animals love eating them.
Why our product?
