This hypoallergenic & low-purine wet food combines the power of high-quality fresh insects (Hermetia illucens) with functional ingredients such as apple extract and algae oil – ideal for dogs with sensitive digestion or food intolerances. The recipe is based on few, clearly declared raw materials and can therefore be suitable for elimination diets (Limited Ingredient Diet) and chronic intestinal diseases such as IBD.

The soft consistency makes the food particularly easy to digest – even for dogs that don’t tolerate conventional protein sources well. Through its urine-acidifying properties it can also help stabilize the urinary environment and thus reduce the risk of struvite stone formation.

Thanks to the deliberately reduced content of phosphorus, protein and magnesium, the food is also a suitable choice for dogs with kidney insufficiency – always in consultation with your treating veterinarian.

Composition

Composition: Insects, fresh (Hermetia illucens) (50%), tapioca pearls (15%), apple extract (1.5%), algae oil (Schizochytrium sp.) (0.5%), minerals (1.15%).

Black soldier fly larvae: Suitable for nutritionally sensitive dogs as they are considered hypoallergenic (low allergy potential)
Tapioca: Tapioca, derived from the cassava root, is often recommended as gentle food for dogs as it is gluten-free, easy to digest and low in purine
Algae oil: Algae oil provides EPA and DHA from plant sources – ideal as a supplement for fish-free recipes and dogs with increased need for omega-3 fatty acids.

*Note: The remaining percentages to 100% in the composition consist of water as well as vitamins and trace elements.

Additives per kg of product: Nutritional additives: Vitamin A 15,000 IU, vitamin D3 350 IU, vitamin E 8 mg, zinc (as zinc sulfate) 22.5 mg, manganese (as manganese(II) sulfate monohydrate) 6 mg, iodine (as calcium iodate anhydrous) 0.5 mg, copper (as copper(II) sulfate pentahydrate) 4 mg, iron (as iron(II) sulfate monohydrate) 30 mg, selenium (as sodium selenite) 0.15 mg.

The wet food contains: Total purine nitrogen: 17.1 mg/100g of product and total uric acid equivalent: 41.0 mg/100g of product.

Our black soldier fly larvae insects show an analyzed crude protein digestibility of ≥ 80%.

Complete food per FEDIAF guideline: The food serves as complete nutrition for adult dogs and covers the daily requirements of all necessary nutrients. It can also replace individual meals. The daily ration figures are guidelines. Individual needs vary by breed, age and activity. Divide the daily ration into at least 2 servings and feed at room temperature. Additional snacks should be factored into the daily ration. Always provide fresh drinking water. Please store cool and dry.
