Description

Frozen migratory locusts – high-quality natural feed for large insectivores.

Our migratory locusts (Locusta migratoria) come from controlled breeding, are gently frozen and contain no additives or preservatives whatsoever. Freezing preserves nutrients and taste – for a diet close to nature.

Important note

Intended as a complementary feed – not as a complete feed. Do not refreeze thawed locusts.

Benefits of our frozen migratory locusts
  • 100% natural single feed – without preservatives
  • Gently frozen so that the nutrients are preserved
  • From controlled breeding, never wild-caught
  • An ideal protein source for many reptiles, birds and small mammals
  • Practical to portion and with a long shelf life
Which animals is it suitable for?
  • Reptiles such as bearded dragons, chameleons, geckos or monitor lizards
  • Birds, e.g. chickens, quail, ornamental birds
  • Insectivorous mammals such as hedgehogs or shrews
  • Amphibians that take large prey
Feeding recommendation and thawing

Take the desired quantity out of the packaging and let the locusts thaw at room temperature or in the fridge. Feed them promptly afterwards and do not refreeze.

Depending on species and size, offer suitable portions daily or several times a week.
