Description
Description
Frozen buffalo worms, individually removable – all-natural, protein-rich and easy to digest.
Buffalo worms (Alphitobius diaperinus) have a balanced protein-to-fat ratio and supply valuable building blocks for growth, muscle development and metabolism. Their softer body makes them easier to digest than mealworms – ideal for smaller species, juveniles and sensitive eaters.
Important note
Our buffalo worms are all-natural – they have not been blanched or otherwise pre-treated. After thawing they may therefore darken or change colour. This is a natural process and not a sign of reduced quality.
Intended as a complementary feed – not as a complete feed.
Benefits of our product
- Made in the EU: from controlled breeding in Italy – for consistently high quality.
- Free from preservatives: no artificial additives, so the worms stay all-natural.
- Appealing taste: many animals take buffalo worms very readily.

Delivered in an insulating polystyrene box with dry ice (–78 °C).
Safety information on dry ice:
- Do not touch – direct skin contact can cause severe cold burns. Always use gloves or a cloth.
- Do not swallow – dry ice is not a food.
- Ventilate well – dry ice evaporates into CO₂ gas, which can cause oxygen depletion in enclosed rooms.
- Do not seal airtight – the pressure that builds up can burst containers.
- Keep away from children.
- Do not put in the bin – simply let it evaporate in the open air.
- Do not put in water – the reaction can cause violent gas formation and splashing.
