Description
Description

Our pinky maggots (Lucilia sp.) come from controlled breeding in the Netherlands and are an all-natural feed for pets and wildlife – without preservatives and without the use of antibiotics or other medication.
Important note
Intended as a complementary feed – not as a complete feed. Never feed them frozen.
Benefits of frozen pinky maggots
- High protein content: supports growth, moulting and regeneration
- Natural food source: matches the natural prey of many birds and reptiles
- Long shelf life: hygienically preserved by deep-freezing, without additives
- Practical to portion: easy to take out and feed as needed
- No medication such as antibiotics
Which animals is it suitable for?
- Insectivorous birds: e.g. softbills, ornamental birds, wild birds
- Reptiles: e.g. geckos, bearded dragons, chameleons
- Amphibians: frogs, newts
- Fish in aquariums and ponds
- Mammals: e.g. hedgehogs, ferrets, as a protein-rich supplement to the usual feed
