Frozen mealworms – natural, versatile and protein-rich.
Mealworms are rich in protein and healthy fats and also supply vitamins and minerals – ideal for muscle development and energy. They are bred to high quality standards, completely without harmful chemicals or pesticides and without artificial preservatives.

Which animals is it suitable for?
- Birds: chickens, wild birds such as tits, woodpeckers, robins
- Reptiles: geckos, bearded dragons and other lizards
- Amphibians & invertebrates: frogs, salamanders, tarantulas
- Fish: larger ornamental fish such as cichlids
- Small mammals: hamsters, mice, hedgehogs
Thawing
- Gently: thaw the mealworms in a container at room temperature. Depending on the quantity this takes about 30–60 minutes. The nutrients are preserved and the worms are easier to eat.
- Quickly: put the mealworms in a sieve and pour warm water over them. Make sure the water is not too hot.
Feeding recommendation
Make sure the diet is varied and the calcium-to-phosphorus ratio balanced – especially for reptiles and juveniles.
